Ace Hardware is seeking a fresh redesign of its all-purpose construction screws packaging to enhance shelf impact and customer engagement.

Currently, the existing packaging fails to effectively differentiate between the various screw sizes and quantities, resulting in consumer confusion and a missed opportunity for brand distinction.

The new design aims to address these issues by incorporating vibrant, eye-catching graphics that clearly communicate the product specifications and uses. This project is crucial as it represents not only a functional improvement in packaging design but also an opportunity to reinforce Ace Hardware's brand identity as a leader in quality construction solutions.

You, as a Graphic & Packaging Designer at the agency hired by Ace Hardware, will work closely with the VP of Marketing to ensure the new packaging aligns with the company’s brand standards while achieving the goal of standing out on store shelves. The end result should make the product selection process intuitive and straightforward for consumers, ensuring that the different sizes and types of screws are easily identifiable at a glance.

The redesigned packaging will include clear labeling of screw specifications, integration of Ace’s branding and logo, and graphics illustrating common uses. An informative insert will provide a detailed guide on the applications of different screw types, usage tips, and safety warnings. The redesign should consider visibility and differentiation, brand consistency, practicality, and the use of eco-friendly materials.
