Project Brief

The Solana Foundation is sponsoring a background graphic to promote the use of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the Solana blockchain. The graphic will be used as a sponsored background on the Brave browser, which is a popular web browser that emphasizes privacy and security. The client has approach you or your agency looking for a fresh, new way they can present the NFT and Blockchain technology thats innovative and beautiful. They are looking for a design that effectively communicates the unique benefits and capabilities of NFTs on the Solana blockchain. The design should include high-quality graphics, engaging visuals, and clear messaging that highlights the advantages of using Solana for NFT transactions.

In addition to promoting NFTs on the Solana blockchain, the client would also like the design to include a call-to-action for users to learn more about Solana and its capabilities. This can be achieved through the inclusion of a clear and visible link to the Solana Foundation's website.

The client is open to new ideas and concepts, and is looking for a solution that will effectively communicate the value and appeal of NFTs on the Solana blockchain. The goal is to create a background graphic that will generate interest and engagement among web users, and drive awareness and adoption of Solana as a platform for NFT transactions.

Stuff To Create

Below is a list of suggested deliverables that could be created.

1
Brave Background

A Brave Background is a sponsored background graphic that appears on the new tab page of the Brave browser. It should be a large, full-screen style marketing promo graphic.

  • The graphic should highlight or showcase the key benefits of the Solana network.
  • The graphics need to align with the current branding and graphic identity found across the Solana website.
2
Landing Page

After users click on the Brave background ad, they will be sent to a Landing Page where they can engage with Solana's products and services. The client would like to see mockups for such a page.

  • Include a large heading, promotional body copy, and call-to-action.
  • The page shouldn't include any navigation since the goal is to have visitors convert.

What's a Brave Ad or Takeover?

Brave is a web browser that emphasizes user privacy, blocks ads and website trackers by default, and rewards users with cryptocurrency for opting-in to see certain ads. Brave sells 'new tab' space with full-screen images that brands can customize.

Ad requirements from Brave

  • 2560px X 1440px, JPEG format only
  • Distinctly different visuals to ensure new-tabs don’t become monotonous
  • Place the main focal point of the background around x:935 y:680 to prevent obstruction by new tab widgets (clock, cards, favorites, etc.)
  • Background images will be cropped for mobile based on main focal range above
